Family Faith: topic of discussion

The number one goal in the Family Faith catechetical program for our 9-12 grades is to grow as christians by learning how to relate faith and life. We will do so by bringing our life into the light of the gospel, by participating in community services, and by discussing relevant topics.  And here comes the question: what are the most relevant and interesting topics to discuss with youth of 14-17 years old? Below there are four ideas we are planning to set as suggestions for them to choose from. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Justice: do we come across situations in which we would say "it-is-unfair"? how do we face injustice?  how did Jesus act for justice? are we unawarely supporting injustice situations? how justice and mercy relate to each other?...

Money: how important money is in our lives? how much is enough? are happiness and money closely related? is there a christina and non-christian way to spend it? What would Jesus say?...

Being honest: what is to live truthfully and honestly? are we honest with ourselves, our friends, and with God? what image do we give about ourselves? are white lies ok? What would Jesus say about this?...

The world we care:  not only we live in a the earth but we change it. What are the positive and negative things about this? What kind of relationship and responsibility should we have with our environment? what does the Bible say about it?...

If you like to participate there is a poll at the bottom of the bloc's sidebar. We would also love to hear your comments and suggestions for interesting and relevant topics: what about health care, bible and science, family relationships, people with disabilities...
